Although agricultural technology has come far, even in unimaginable ways, millions of people around the world face issues with nutrition and food safety, causing countless deaths. With factors like the exponentially growing population and climate fluctuations, this problem has noticeably increased. Currently, there are two ends of the spectrum, where many people suffer from an excess of food, while others suffer from the desperate lack of it. Each year, around 3 million people worldwide have died from obesity while 7.6 million die from hunger or malnutrition. As stated before, statistics have reached their highest points over the past decades. Undeniably, this situation has been getting worse. Despite those efforts done by powerful countries to solve this issue, although many, this issue has prevailed. For these and many more reasons, it is up to you as representatives of your countries to be able to find new solutions in order to combat this heartbreaking adversity.
